When my mental health was struggling, and I wasn't able to get proper help, I wanted to be treated like everyone else. While I still feel that to an extent, I am now more comfortable with who I am. In fact, I'm proud to be working with a diverse team that celebrates unique perspectives, and uses those to guide our mission."

Our Board of Directors and volunteers are diverse people with lived experiences of mental health which guides our work at MHS and helps in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
