National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation honours the story and lives of the children who never returned home from residential schools, the survivors, their families, and communities. Orange Shirt Day is a commemorative day which aims to raise awareness for the generational trauma caused by residential schools, and to remember the survivors.
